    Needs:

• paper plate,
• red and green paint
• paintbrush
• black paint or black marker,
• scissors,
• glue

    How To Do:

 1.Cut leaf shapes off of opposite sides of the plate.

 2.Paint the leaf shapes green and set aside to dry.

 3.Paint the edges (top and bottom) of the plate red.

 4.Paint or draw seed shapes onto the center of the plate.

 5.Glue real apple seeds into the center of the plate.

 6.Let all the pieces dry.

 7.Glue the leaf shapes to the top of the plate to make your apple

       Needs:

• Eggs
• paring Knife
• Gum
• Potting Soil(pen)

     Who To Do : EggHeads

  handling an empty eggshell without breaking it,start with drawing on a face with a permanent            marker.washable markers will run when you water your egghead.

              Using the tip of the knife, poke a hole in the top of the egg, and keep poking it out until it's the size of your fingertip. Using your finger, pull off bits of the shell until the opening is big enough for a good crop of hair

Dump the raw egg out may as well make scrambled eggs while you're at it and rinse the empty eggshell

                Place your eggshells into an empty egg carton, and place one soil pellet in each. Add in water until the soil has expanded and is nice and moist.  just use potting soil. Sprinkle the grass seeds on top

                Place your eggs in a sunny spot and check the soil daily. Add water if it looks or feels dry. You should see sprouts in a few days.

Trim their hair  at top of the head at around the head edge with grass partical gum and enjoy

Creepy-Crawly Pipe Cleaner Spider

 Needs:

• pipe cleaners
• beads

how to do:

Gather your supplies. You can use any colors you want for the material, but to make it more spooky, I would stick with black, orange, and yellow.

Hold 4 pipe cleaners in one hand and bend them in half. Then twist them together in the middle to create a loop for the spider's "body." Twist a couple times to make sure the pipe cleaners are secure. Depending on your kid's age, you may need to do this for them. While I twisted Clare's, I had her pick out the beads she wanted to put on the spider

Have your child separate the legs (and count them as you go). We made a few of these so Clare got some good counting fun in

Have your child slide beads onto each leg in various positions. This was great for Clare's fine motor skills. To keep the beads from sliding off, just bend the legs to create "joints". Once all 8 legs are done, flip the spider over and admire your Halloween creation!

Birds Nest Collage

Birds Nest Collage

This delightful birds nest collage can be enjoyed by all ages. Younger children can be given the shapes pre-cut and can take charge of decorating the paper plate nest and and adding wiggle eyes and beaks to the baby birds. For older children you could adapt the craft to make the birds much more lifelike (study a real nest from a distance, or search for photos on the internet) and by using real nest materials in the collage.

You will need:
Large paper plate
Brown paint
Thin brown paper (tissue, greaseproof or packing will all work)
Brightly coloured card
Wiggle eyes
Scraps of yellow card or foam
Glue

Instructions:
Paint the back of the plate brown and leave to dry. Cut in half.
Cut the brown paper into strips and glue them to the plate. Don't worry about gluing all the edges as you are looking for texture.

Cut 3 ovals from coloured card and glue them along the edge of the plate
Add a yellow beak and two wiggle eyes to each.
